01Information you record

• Your moods, color settings, notes, place names and ink paintings are saved on your own device, along with entry dates, times, time zones and the glass bottle’s state.
• If you use Apple Watch, mood records and color settings sync between your paired iPhone and Watch, and notes written on Watch are sent to iPhone. iPhone widgets use the records and settings stored on your device.
• Saving a painting to Photos asks only for permission to add a photo, not to read photos stored on your iPhone.
• Device tilt used to move the water is not saved or sent to a server.

02Location, addresses and maps

• If you turn on location information and allow precise location access on your iPhone, Kiboon saves your location, measurement time and accuracy just after you record a mood.
• It does not check your location when you are not using the app or continuously track your movements.
• Opening an entry with a saved location sends that location to Apple’s map service to load its address and map, and saves the address on your device.
• Tapping the map sends the location to Google Maps to show that place.
• You can allow or turn off location access in Settings at any time.
• Turning location off keeps saved locations, so opening an older entry can still load its address and map.

03Health information, including Apple Health

• Turning on Apple Health lets Kiboon read the heart rate, steps, sleep, weight, blood pressure and body temperature you allow, and show them with your mood entries.
• These readings are not copied into storage or sent elsewhere, and Kiboon does not add or change data in Apple Health.
• Health information you enter manually is saved on your device.
• You can allow or revoke access to health information at any time; revoking access stops further readings from Apple Health.

04Weather information

• If you turn on weather information, Kiboon sends an approximate location for the surrounding area to Apple’s weather service and saves the returned weather, temperature and humidity on your device.
• You can turn weather on or off in Settings at any time; it requires the location feature to be on.
• Turning it off keeps previously saved weather information.

05Retention, deletion and backups

• You can record a mood without granting permissions or connecting to the internet.
• You can delete saved mood entries, notes, location information and manually entered health information in the app.
• Deleting the app also deletes its data from your device.
• Depending on your settings, records may be included in an iCloud or computer backup, which you manage yourself.
